Karela United head coach, Ibrahim Tanko Shaibu says he will motivate his side to return to winning ways this weekend.

In the matchday 9 games, Karela hosted the Phobians at the Aliu Mahama Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The game ended 1-1 draw. The home side were awarded a penalty but they failed to convert the spot-kick.

Speaking after the game, Tanko assured that his side will return winnings this weekend.

"Everything went well except that we did not take our chances," he said after the game.

"Imagine getting a penalty in the 37th minute, 8 minutes to go, and the player wastes it. So, what else can I do?

"I'll keep talking to them, trying to motivate them for the next challenge," he added.

The draw leave Karela United at the 16th on the league log with 9 points.

Karela United in the matchday 10 games will be hosted by Accra Lions at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday.
