Former Great Olympics head coach, J.E Sarpong has shared that Andre Ayew and Jordan Ayew must remain part of the Black Stars team.
According to him, the Ayew brothers have a lot of experience that is needed in building a very formidable national team under new head coach Chris Hughton.
Speaking to Original FM on the Super Sport Show, Coach J.E Sarpong said, “It's too early to axe Andre Ayew and Jordan Ayew from the Black Stars team we need to build a team with the youth and experience once it's not good to retire our experienced players in our national team.”
Both Andre Ayew and Jordan Ayew have been invited by Black Stars head coach Chris Hughton for the next round of the qualifiers for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.
Ghana will face Angola in a doubleheader encounter later this month in Group E of the qualifiers.
The first of the two games is scheduled to be played at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Thursday, March 23.
