Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu has requested that the military be present at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday when Hearts of Oak take on arch-rivals Asante Kotoko.

“We need the military on Sunday oo else…” Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu posted on Facebook.

The Super Clash will take place on Sunday, June 27, 2021, at the Accra Sports Stadium, when Hearts of Oak host Asante Kotoko in matchday 31 of the Ghana Premier League.

Because of the excitement surrounding the match, many believe that the Ghana FA should deploy more men in casual clothing to guarantee peace and order at the stadium in order to avert another catastrophe in the country's football history.

Meanwhile, the Ghana FA has declared that just 25% of fans would be permitted entry as part of the country's efforts to combat the COVID-19.

The Ghana FA has also told the public that no tickets would be sold at the Accra Sports Stadium on matchday.

Meanwhile, a joint security team made up of Military and Police personnel will be deployed at vantage roads leading to the Accra Sports Stadium and fans without tickets should are advised to stay away from the Accra Sports Stadium and its immediate surroundings on Sunday.

The Super Clash will be played under strict COVID-19 protocols as required by the National COVID-19 Task Force and the GFA Matchday COVID-19 Protocols.”
