We need to allow science play a role in Ghana football- Kurt Okraku

Ghana Football Association president Kurt Okraku has revealed that he and his administration will allow science to play a role in Ghana football due to problems it has faced in the last three years.

Since 2017, there has been no league winner declared in any of the leagues available, prompting sponsors to back out.

The Anas expose also played its part and the Normalization Committee had to step in to bring football back to normalcy.

In an interview with Happy FM, Kurt deduced the reason for the lack of sponsors and veered his mind to the need for science.

“Since 2017, we haven’t played a league and declared a winner, which is a big problem because no sponsor wants to be associated with a product which is consistently inconsistent.

“I think our football has gotten to a point where we need to allow science to play a role. It is something that my administration will look into,” he concluded.
