Nsoatreman head coach Maxwell Konadu praised his team's display of positive football in their showdown against Asante Kotoko in the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League.

The match, which unfolded in a crescendo of talent and determination, culminated in a stunning 1-0 victory for Nsoatreman.

Stephen Diyou etched his name into the annals of the game, netting the sole goal in the 41st minute, while Asante Kotoko's chances took a significant blow as defender Henry Ansi received his marching orders after a second yellow card.

"No the time we played the pre season friendly we were not using this system this system is a high intensity system that we have started using we want to have very few touches on the ball and get to the opponent half," he said after the game.

"So it comes with a high intensity game if we do that try to wear down the defense line of the opponent it helps us if you watch the pre season friendly we were more of the possession type of football but now we have switched because some of our players were injured and we didn't have them.

"When it happens like that you have to tactically switch your system to suit the players you have the quality that is why you saw that we were possessing more playing at home Kotoko were possessing more but we were playing positive football,"
