Sekondi Hasaacas star Theophilus Nana Awortwe stated that they took the decision of the GFA to cancel the various Ghana leagues normally.
On Tuesday 30th June, the GFA announced the cancellation of the Ghana Premier League, Division One league and the various leagues for women stating the lack of cash and the adverse effect of COVID-19 as key reasons.
The decision spoiled Hasaacas' hopes of earning a Premier League slot by the end of the campaign.
"We took the EXCO's decision to cancel the league normal and we are just waiting for the next way forward," Theophilus told Spice FM.
He added that he still does some personal training in anticipation of the competition next season.
"I do my personal training and run at least one hour everyday to keep shape because we don't know when the league is resuming."
