Legon Cities FC defender Joseph Adjei has revealed that they are aiming to keep a clean sheet when they face Asante Kotoko in matchday five of the Ghana Premier League on Friday.

Asante Kotoko will host the moneybags at the Accra Sports Stadium as both clubs seek to pick their first three points of the season.

The Royals despite spending huge in the transfer window have failed to record a victory after four matches into the season.

According to the budding defender, their mindset is to keep a clean sheet against Kotoko in order to record their first win of the campaign.

“It is our mindset to keep a clean sheet against Kotoko. We lost against Olympics and it was very painful because everybody was talking about our poor defensive network in that game so this time we’re not joking at the back,” he said.

“We’re very confident going into the match because with the kind of defense and players we have, we can hold them boot to boot.”
