We were tactically better than Hearts of Oak - Techiman Eleven Wonders coach Ignatius Osei Fosu

Techiman Eleven Wonders head coach, Ignatius Osei Fosu beleives his side were tactically better than Hearts of Oak despite their defeat.

The Techiman based side hosted the Phobians in the matchday 26 games of the Ghana Premier League at the Ohene Ameyaw Park.

However, a first-half strike by Kwadwo Obeng Junior was enough for Hearts of Oak to return to the capital with all three points.

But the young gaffer despite the pressure from the fans following the defeat believes they were the better side.

“I think tactically we beat them. They were only ballooning the ball, they did not pass from first half to second half," Osei-Fosu said after the game.

"I felt Hearts of Oak was possessive team, the coach keeps talking about he is possessing, but we never saw that thing… But it is just that we gave away a goal.

He also expressed his disappointment with Latif Andari, the referee for the game, who took the shine of the game away following a handball incident.

“I talked about referee taking the shine away. From where I was sitting and from the replay I saw from StarTimes, that was a penalty on any day, and I am surprised that a FIFA referee of that calibre did not see it,” he added.

Eleven Wonders are currently occupying the 15th position on the Ghana Premier League log with 27 points after match-day 26.
