Bibiani Goldstars coach Michael Osei believes his outfit tactical supremacy played a huge role in securing a point against Karela United in the matchday 8 of the Ghana Premier League.

In a highly competitive clash, Karela United and Goldstars settled for a 1-1 stalemate at the Aliu Mahama Stadium on Wednesday afternoon.

Karela United shot into the lead after just seven minutes into the game through Emmanuel Boakye Owusu before Charles Gyamfi restored parity for the Goldstars.

And with no additional goals in the second half, the game ended 1-1.

“It was a very difficult game. Our opponent needed maximum points looking at their situation but we were very disciplined in our tactical play. We defended well, yet conceded first the but came back strongly to equalize” he said.

Bibiani Goldstars are 8th on the Ghana Premier League standings with 10 points whiles Karela United sit a place above the relegation drop.
