We will assist Franck Mbella Etouga to win GPL Goal King award - Kotoko captain Abdul Ganiu

Asante Kotoko captain, Abdul Ganiu has insisted that the playing body are ready to assist Franck Mbella Etiuga to win the Goal King award.

The Cameroonian import has so far scored 21 times in his debut campaign in the Ghana Premier League.

Mbella scored the only goal as the Porcupine Warriors picked up all three points against Accra Great Olympics at the Accra Sports Stadium.

With the Porcupine Warriors hosting relegated Elmina Sharks at the Baba Yara Stadium this weekend in the matchday 33 games, Ganiu says they are backing the 22-year-old to annex the award.

“We will support Mbella to win the Goal King award," he told Kumasi-based Angel FM.

Mbella, who joined Asante Kotoko on a three year deal before the start of the season is also chasing to break Ishmael Addo's record 22 goals in the Premier League.
