The Public Relations Officer of Bechem United, Emmanuel Gyasi Atuahene has indicated that the club will be shocked if head coach Kasim Mingle leaves the team.
At the end of the 2022/23 football season, several outlets have reported that coach Mingle has decided to end his stay in Bechem to join newly-promoted side Nations FC.
Speaking in an interview, Emmanuel Gyasi who speaks for Bechem United said the club has no knowledge of any plans for Coach Kasim Mingle to leave.
"We haven't received any official letter to that effect. He is part of the project we began two seasons ago as we aim to represent Ghana in Africa either in the Champions League or Confederations Cup. He has details and is aware of the project we aim to build with him, so we will be surprised if he decides to leave,” the Bechem Utd spokesperson said.
Gyasi continued, "However if there is something of the sort and he insists he wants to leave, we will analyse the situation and see how best it can be handled. But as it stands, there is nothing official so it will be difficult to say he is leaving.”
It is understood that top officials of Bechem United are unhappy with the rumors linking the team’s head coach to Nations FC.
Some officials want the gaffer out if it’s true he wants to leave.
