We will beat FC Samartex to stay in the league - King Faisal asisstant coach Godwin Ablordey

King Faisal assistant coach, Godwin Ablordey, says their game against FC Samartex 1996 is a must-win game.

The Insha Allah lads will host Samartex at the Dr Kwame Kyei Sports Complex in the matchday 31 games on Sunday.

King Faisal must win this all-important game to keep their chances of survival in the top flight.

After 30 games played, the Kumasi-based side have gained 36 points.

However, the former Asante Kotoko player says they will secure a win over Samartex so they maintain their status in the league.

“It is a must-win, we must win that game if we want to be in the premier league. This is our home game and we need to win to stay in the premiership. So, it depends on us, we and the players we are going to make sure that we train hard and make sure we stay in the premiership. We have to make sure that we win against Samartex," Ablordey told StarTimes.

Despite their struggle, King Faisal will play in the final of the 2022/23 MTN FA Cup against Dreams FC.
