Head coach of Kano Pillars, Ibrahim Musa has vowed to defeat Asante Kotoko at the dreaded Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday in the second leg of the CAF Champions League match.

Pillars overturn a 2-1 deficit in Kano last Saturday to earn a 3-2 triumph over Kotoko at home in Nigeria.

However, despite conceding two goals against the Porcupines, coach Musa is optimistic his lads will leave the shores of Ghana with a victory.

Asante Kotoko were undefeated at home in last seasons CAF Confederations Cup where they exited in the group stages.

Despite knowing the history at Kumasi, coach Ibrahim Musa says they are up for a win.

“We allowed Asante Kotoko SC to score us two goals after taking the lead but we fought hard to beat them 3-2. We are coming to Ghana to beat Asante Kotoko as we did to Al Ahly SC in Egypt after a one-all draw in a 1st Leg at Sani Abacha Stadium,” Ibrahim Musa told Nhyira FM.

A lose for Kotoko will see them join other teams for the CAF Confederations Cup.
