Nations FC head coach, Kasim Mingle has indicated that they will fight to win the upcoming Ghana Premier League campaign.

The Abrankese side are making their maiden appearance in the Ghana topflight following their qualification from the Division One League.

Aduana FC remain the only side that have won the Ghanaian elite league competition in their maiden campaign.

However, Mingle, who joined Nations FC as the new head coach from Bechem United said they will not add up to the numbers but they will compete and win the league title.

“We are not just going to add up to numbers. We are going to be one of the contenders for the league title," Kasim Mingle stated on Kumasi-based Fox FM.

“So far I am happy and okay with the players I have but you know as a coach, you cannot be fully okay unless the season has started," he added.

Nations FC open their 2023/24 league season with an away game at Dreams FC before playing in front of their home fans against FC Samartex on matchday two.

The 2023/24 season will get underway in September later this year.
