We will keep fighting to secure a respectable positon on GPL table – Legon Cities coach Maxwell Konadu

Head coach of Legon Cities FC, Maxwell Konadu hoped his team will be Asante Kotoko on Thursday afternoon but it did not happen.

Speaking in a post-match interview, the experienced tactician said his team will continue to fight to climb to a good position on the Ghana Premier League table.

“We started the game strongly and should have scored very early in the game but unfortunately we missed those opportunities. It’s a balanced game but in the second half — Kotoko pushed me back to defend more. We wanted to finish the game strongly and glad Alex Aso came to score. We will keep fighting and secure a respectable position,” Coach Maxwell Konadu said.

Following the draw today, Legon Cities FC are now just two places away from the relegation zone of the Ghana Premier League table.

The club must beat Bibiani Gold Stars in the next outing or risk falling into the red zone.
