Ashanti Gold boss, Dr. Kwaku Frimpong has indicated that he will not close his doors to Ashanti Kotoko if they want any of his players.
The Porcupine Warriors are said to be tracking striker Shafiu Mumuni and Dr. Frimpong has emphasized that they will be no impediments as what matters most is the Reds can match their fee.
“Kotoko are our (Ashgold) neighbours so if only they can afford the negotiations we will release the players (they require) for,” AshGold bankroller Dr. Frimpong told Fox FM.
Kotoko want to beef up their attack as they seek to qualify from the CAF Confederations Cup Group C which also have Nkana FC, Zesco United and Al Hilal.
