Yaw Preko, the newly appointed coach of Nsoatreman FC, has hinted that the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi could potentially host their CAF Confederation Cup games.

Preko, a seasoned coach with a wealth of experience in African football, believes that the stadium's impressive facilities make it an ideal venue for their continental matches.

The former Medeama and Great Olympics coach reportedly signed a two-year contract with the Nsoatre-based club.

Preko replaced Maxwell Konadu, who left the club to join South African side Black Leopards.

He is expected to lead Nsoatreman FC in the upcoming CAF Confederation Cup campaign next season.

"I think that from what I heard from the GM we will play in Kumasi," he told Peace FM as monitored by Footballghana.com

Yaw Preko will commence work with immediate effect as the team gear up for their maiden participation in the CAF Confederation Cup next season.

Nsoatreman FC will know their preliminary round opponent on Thursday, July 11, 2024 in a draw set to be held in Cairo, Egypt.
