Medeama SC coach, Evans Adotey says they are going to prepare very well to take on Remo Stars of Nigeria in the 2023/24 CAF Champions League.
Champions Medeama SC will face Remo Stars in the first preliminary round of the competition.
This was revealed at the draw of the CAF inter-club competitions that took place at the CAF headquarters in Cairo, Egypt on Tuesday, July 25, 2023.
Medeama SC is set to make its debut in the Champions League having previously competed in the CAF Confederation Cup in 2014 and 2017.
Medeama won the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League title after amassing 60 points from 34 games.
"Medeama family was expecting that the draw will come out and we will all see our opponent. The playing body, technical staff, management was looking up to this it is good news," he told Peace FM as monitored by Footballghana.com
"We will be playing Remo Stars of Nigeria the first leg is in Ghana when it comes to pairing of a team and then one team is first to play at home or away first then a lot of implications happen,"
