Public Relations Officer of Aduana Stars Evans Oppong says his outfit cannot afford to drop points when they face Karela United on Monday.

The fire boys will play host to the Pride of West in matchday 30 of the Ghana Premier League at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park.

Speaking ahead of the clash, Evans Oppong expressed optimism about victory against Karela United.

“We defeated Goldstars upon our return to NAB 1 Park after the ban. We won’t drop points in our second home game when we take on Karela United”

“Our game is on Monday and it is a busy day in Dormaa but we will plead with corporate Ghana and other companies in Dormaa to allow their workers to troop to the stadium to support us”

“Our game against Karela won’t be easy but with support from the fans we can emerge as victors” he said.

Aduana Stars are on the summit of the Ghana Premier League table with 51 points after 29 matches into the campaign.

The two-time GPL winners are being trailed by Bechem United with just three points and will hope to secure the maximum points to stay on top.
