Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Danlad Ibrahim has promised he and his teammates will do their possible best in order to annex the Ghana Premier League next season.
The Ghanaian giants endured a difficult campaign last-term, finishing 4th on the league standings at the end of the season.
The Porcupine Warriors also failed to impress in other competitions as they bowed out of the CAF Champions League in the first round and exited the FA Cup in the round of 32 following a slim defeat to Aduana Stars.
Speaking to Kessben FM monitored by Footballghana.com, the Black Meteors shot stopper rallied support from the fans ahead of the new season whiles promising to win the Ghana Premier League title.
“We are competing in only the Ghana Premier League and the FA Cup, so I think the players will have a sound mind to prepare very well”
“This season, Isha Allah, God will show his power. I will entreat the fans to support the club in good faith. It will be easier for us to win the league with their love. We promise to give our best in order to win the league for the fans” he said.
Asante Kotoko will begin their 2023/24 Ghana Premier League campaign with a home game against returnees, Heart of Lions.
