We’ll help Stephen Amankona to win GPL goal king gong – Berekum Chelsea defender Ahmed Adams

Berekum Chelsea defender Ahmed Adams has declared his outfit intention to help striker Stephen Amankona clinch the Ghana Premier League gong at the end of the campaign.

The Premier League goal king race has intensified with two matches to end the season.

Amankona currently lead the race after scoring 15 goals in 25 games in the Ghanaian top-flight. Kotoko and Uganda international Steven Mukwala follows closely with 14 goals.

Speaking in an interview, Adams, who is a former player of Asante Kotoko affirmed he and his teammates will help Amankona to win the goal king prize at the end of the season.

“Amankona is a fantastic player. We are trying everything possible to help him win the goal king. We are supporting him to win the goal king”

“We will urge the fans of the club to rally behind us so we can win the goal king. He is leading Mukwala with two goals and we pray he scores in the remaining games to win it” he said.

Berekum Chelsea are seventh on the Ghana Premier League table with 47 points after 32 matches.
