Wenger believes squad rotation is helping Arsenal

Arsene Wenger believes his squad rotation is the reason Arsenal have fewer injuries to worry about this season.

"Yes, I would say that's a consequence of that. One of the things we've benefitted from is that, yes," he said.

The Arsenal manager is disappointed at his side's result last weekend against Manchester United, but hopes they can continue the otherwise good form of the past few weeks.

"I hope so [on benefiting from squad freshness]. I think we missed an opportunity on Saturday to take advantage of that, because we were physically quite strong in the game.

"But we are in a position where we have to take the month of December in a very serious way, be efficient and hopefully we can benefit from that."

The Gunners head into the busy Christmas schedule with games against Southampton, West Ham, Newcastle, Liverpool, Crystal Palace and West Brom in the League, before a January showdown against Chelsea at the Emirates.
