Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has opened the door for Manchester United to make a move in January for Mesut Ozil.

The German midfielder is out of contract at the end of the season, and according to the Manchester Evening News, United boss Jose Mourinho is keen on bringing in his former Real Madrid player.

United are said to be keen on waiting till the end of the season so they can sign Ozil for free, but Wenger has hinted he may have to part ways with the 28-year-old sooner rather than later.

"No decision has been made on that front," he told beIN Sport .

"Do we let anyone go in January? We'll have to think about that to see where we stand with them at the end of December."
