#WengerOut Twitter Makes a Hilarious Return as Arsenal Suffer Another Damaging Loss

Published on: 05 February 2017

Arsenal lost 3-1 to Chelsea on Saturday, effectively ending their title hopes for the year with the North London side now 12 points behind the leaders.

As per usual, Arsene Wenger was the focus of attention amongst Arsenal fans who typically took to twitter to vent their frustration. Here are some of the best#WengerOut tweets from the weekend...

Difficult to argue with this to be fair...

You can't lose a title race if you were never in.. @Arsenal @wengerknowsbest #wengerout pic.twitter.com/bwQokoKiCE

Sticking with the R.S. theme...

If you don't support Arsenal, you won't have to cry for Wenger's resignation every other weekend#WengerOut pic.twitter.com/2sSSMm2ihN

A few damning verdicts here...

In 20 years, I've never ever seen Arsene Wenger apologize or at least take responsibility for a loss. Not once!
Arrogant prick.#WengerOut

But at least some fans were able to make something positive out of the situation...

Big up @DailyMirror for the article #WengerOut pic.twitter.com/Z432bq7ocH

It seems as if literally everyone wants Wenger out...

When an account dedicated to Wenger is #WengerOut, it's all over https://t.co/ytocORHgGc

Even the Arsenal players...

The Arsenal players even want #WengerOut  pic.twitter.com/UJN5bW4cCA

And the recently deceased...

When you've died from watching Arsenal but still gotta tweet #WengerOut pic.twitter.com/rEY66LximD

And Grime fans...

.@Arsenal Gutless, spineless, passionless, cowardly, weak, feeble and pathetic. #WengerOut

Everyone but rival fans and the deluded apparently...

Real gooners: #WengerOut
Experts: #WengerOut
Rival fans: #WengerIn
Deluded muppets: #WengerIn

Meanwhile, Arsene Wenger reacts...

When you're seeing #WengerOut tweets everywhere but you know you'll still be here letting people down next season #cfcvafc pic.twitter.com/xDdZGydZtf

Considering this startling fact, it's no surprise that he's still smiling...

Since Arsenal last won the league ... Arsene Wenger has managed to earn £110,500,000 !!! Just let that sink in  #Arsenal #WengerOut

But at least some people were blaming the players...

Ospina in goal for the rest of the season. Cech has cost us more points this season than Szczesny ever did. #WengerOut

Ozil only staying if Wenger stays? Another good reason for #wengerout

A no matter what happens, we'll probably always be able to count on this guy to lead the#WengerOut movement...
