Bofoakwa Tano coach Frimpong Manso says he intend to build a formidable team that can compete in the upcoming Ghana Premier League campaign.
The Sunyani-based club made a return to the Ghanaian elite competition after 16-year absence, defeating Eleven Wonders during the play-off at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Manso, who recently joined the Ghana Premier League returnees has guided the club to the finals of the third edition of the Division One League Super Cup.
Bofoakwa Tano inflicted a narrow defeat on Nations FC to reach the finals and will take on Skyy FC in the finals.
Speaking after his sides triumph over Nations FC, Manso expressed desire to build a squad that can compete in the upcoming campaign.
“We are trying to build a formidable team before the start of the Ghana Premier League season”
“In our first game in the Super Cup, we started with a team and tried to infuse some players in subsequent games. We knew our game against Nations FC was going to be difficult because they are good side but I think my players were more determined, played well and tried to keep the ball as much as possible. So for us, I think that was what we wanted to do” he told Kessben FM in an interview.
