West Bromwich Albion has firmly rejected Stoke City's initial bid for rising star Brandon Thomas-Asante.

However, the rejection has not deterred Stoke City, as sources reveal they are contemplating the prospect of tabling a renewed offer to secure the young talent.

The saga has underscored a growing divide between the two clubs, with West Brom reportedly expressing dissatisfaction over the bid's seemingly low valuation of Thomas-Asante, hinting that it significantly undervalues the player's potential.

This standoff has not escaped the notice of other keen-eyed clubs, many of whom are closely tracking the situation, eager to capitalize on any further developments.

Thomas-Asante signed for EFL Championship club West Bromwich Albion on a three-year contract for a fee reported to be in the region of £300,000 in August 2022, rejecting a move to Birmingham City.

Thomas-Asante made his debut and scored his first goal, a 98th-minute late equalizer for West Brom in a 1-1 home draw against Burnley in September 2022.

This season he has made three appearances and scored two goals in the Championship.
