West Brom target Stoke veteran Johnson

Stoke City outcast Glen Johnson is on the shopping list of West Brom.

The Mirror says Alan Pardew is lining up a move to take out-of-favour Stoke defender Johnson to West Brom next month.

New Baggies boss Pards wants a right-back with plenty of experience in the Premier League and Johnson fits the bill.

The 33-year-old former West Ham, Chelsea, Portsmouth and Liverpool defender is no longer in Mark Hughes's plans and will be out of contract in the summer.

Stoke would be open to letting him go while they can still command a fee and West Brom are happy to pay a nominal fee to get him through the door.
