West Ham boss Moyes: I want Oxford to face Spurs, but...

West Ham boss David Moyes is demanding total commitment from his players tonight against Tottenham.

The Scotsman was delighted with the fightback his players completed versus West Brom and is now calling for a similar attitude at Wembley Stadium on Thursday.

“Spurs have got a really good team," Moyes admitted. “It will be hard work for us but we will go there with the same spirit, same attitude and same determination we've had in all our games. You never know.

The Scot, meanwhile, confirmed Reece Oxford – recently returned from his loan with Borussia Monchengladbach – has sprained his ankle and may not be available for the Tottenham match.

“Reece Oxford kicked the ground in training and has sprained his ankle. He probably might not be fit for Thursday, that's my first thought.

“The biggest thing is I don't have many changes and I don't have lots of players. I've got some forward players I could change around but I don't have many players in other positions. I'm not carrying any more players."
