Premier League side, West Ham reportedly expressed their interest in signing Bristol City striker Antoine Semenyo.

The young Ghanaian forward has been impressive in the ongoing English Championship.

Semenyo was named the Championship Player of the Month in January.

The Hammers are believed to be keen on the 22-year-old but will face tough competition from Scottish Premiership leaders Celtic.

The report claims that David Moyes is ‘aiming to bring in support’ for Michail Antonio in the summer and the ex-Newport County loan star is in contention.

So far this season Semenyo has scored six times and provided eight assists in 22 appearances across all competitions.

Valued at £1.08million and under contract until 2023.

However, versatile, young and boasting a range of exciting attributes, it’s clear to see why both West Ham and Celtic would be keen on the starlet.
