Italy international striker Simone Zaza has struggled since his arrival in East London in the summer, on loan from Juventus.

However, the 25-year-old frontman has, speaking to Rai Sport, as reported by theDaily Mail, said that he is not thinking about a move away from the Olympic Stadium, which he would view as a 'failure.'

"I am not thinking of any other teams right now," Zaza said, when asked about the possibility of cutting short his loan spell with the Hammers.

"Napoli are a great squad and I have had the opportunity to play in a great squad like Juventus too. I am now only concentrating on doing well.West Ham are my [current] squad and it would be a failure if I leave them."

However, the decision might be out of Zaza's hands, as rumours persist that West Ham will be obligated to purchase the out-of-form striker, once he makes a certain number of appearances.

The exact threshold is unknown, but Irons boss Slaven Bilic might be tempted to cut his losses and terminate the Italian's loan spell early, to avoid being landed with a player who has struggled to make an impact in English people - especially with the compulsory purchase rumoured to be in the region of £20m.

Bilic himself has come under scrutiny after the Hammers' poor start to the season, following their much-talked aboutmove to the OIympic Stadium, with his side just one point and one place above the Premier League drop-zone.

Talisman Dimitri Payet has struggled to replicate the impact he made in his debut season in English football and Bilic's men have won just three of their eleven matches so far in 2016/17.

Bilic takes his side to White Hart Lane on Saturday, to face Mauricio Pochettino's unbeaten Tottenham Hotspur team, looking to get his side's season back on track.
