West Ham's Michail Antonio and Aaron Cresswell have been ruled out of Saturday's Premier League fixture against Arsenal, according to theclub's website.

Both players were substituted in their side's EFL quarter-final 4-1defeatto Manchester United and have been ruled out for a further two weeks with groin injuries. This comes as a major blow for the Hammers as the Premier League enters the busiest period of the season, Christmas.

West Ham may be comforted by the fact they took four points from this fixture last season, including an opening day 2-0 win at the Emirates.

They welcome back the man who earned them the draw last season, Andy Carroll, who scored a hat-trick after his side were initially two goals down. However, they also won't be able to call upon striker Diafro Sakho who nowfaces six weeks out due to injury himself.

Boss Bilic has spoken of his frustration on West Ham's inability to cope with so many injuries as two more players are ruled out of contention for Saturday.

He said recently:"Cresswell's injury doesn't look that bad. His groin felt very tight and hopefully it's just fatigue from Sunday. With Antonio, hopefully it's the same but we don't know yet.

"We have a tough game on Saturday and we have a couple of players who came off injured, but we wanted to preserve players for then and Dimitri Payet also."

Bilic has however confirmed in hispress conferencetoday that Carroll will be in the mix, saying:"Andy Carroll will be in the squad tomorrow. He is not ready for 90 minutes but to make an impact, for sure.

"Carroll played an excellent game against Arsenal last season and I'd love for him to do it again. However you look at it, I am the first to say we are in a position we don't want to be in. It's not OK.

"But it is tight. We can climb the table a lot but we have to start winning games."

West Ham currently lie in 16th place in the Premier League, only one point above the relegation zone.
