West Ham teammates need to get connected with Mohammed Kudus - Tomáš Soucek

West Ham United midfielder, Tomáš Soucek, has emphasised the importance of establishing a strong connection with teammate Mohammed Kudus.

The 23-year-old made an impact, coming off the bench in the last 15 minutes of the game against Newcastle United, and leveling the score in a 2-2 draw.

Speaking about Kudus' performance, Soucek stated, “It’s perfect for Mo that he scored his first Premier League goal.

“He’s still new so we have to get connected with him as well, but for his confidence, it was important that he scored because he is a winger and also a striker, so he needs to get on the score sheet. He did that today, so that was great for us.”

Despite this achievement, Kudus is yet to secure a starting spot in a Premier League game since his arrival from West Ham in August.

During the upcoming international break, Soucek will be representing the Czech Republic in UEFA Euro 2024 matches against Faroe Islands and Albania.

On the other hand, Kudus is gearing up to feature for Ghana’s Black Stars in friendly matches against Mexico and USA.
