West Ham United Eye Summer Move for Out-Of-Favour Manchester City Goalkeeper Joe Hart

West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic is eyeing up a summer move for ousted Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart, who is currently on loan at Italian outfit Torino - provided his struggling Hammers side beat the drop.

England number one Hart was replaced by former Barcelona stopper Claudio Bravo at the Etihad Stadium last summer and The Sunreports that Bilic is ready to bring the 29-year-old back to the Premier League.

Guardiola owes Joe Hart an apology

The Irons need to make sure they're still in the division next season to make any potential move viable, given that they are one point and one place above the dreaded Premier League drop-zone, even after an impressive battling 2-2 draw with Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday.

Although current first-choice Darren Randolphhas been in good form lately, it was a glaring error from the Irishman that meant West Ham failed to leave Merseyside with all three points.

The former Birmingham City stopper fumbled Sadio Mane's cross at the feet of Divock Origi and the young Belgian could hardly pass up the chance to grab a point for Jurgen Klopp's side.

Randolph's return between the sticks for the Hammers was only facilitated by the erratic form of Spaniard Adrian San Miguel, and Bilic is thought to want a more consistent and reliable figure in goal moving forward.

The Croatian boss is also thought to be looking at a loan move for Asmir Begovic, the former Stoke City goalkeeper currently second-choice at table-toppers Chelsea.

The report suggests that, given West Ham are not a direct title-chasing rival of City's, Hart could be allowed to leave for around £10m, which still represents good value, even for a player who is approaching 30.

Given their current goalkeeping issues, Hart has been touted as a perfect fit for Klopp's Liverpool side, but it is thought that one of City's direct rivals would have to pay around £20m for the Englishman's services.
