In the wake of Bofoakwa Tano's stunning upset with a 1-0 victory against heavyweights Hearts of Oak on Saturday, coach Frimpong Manso had a heartfelt message for the team's supporters.
"When the team is not performing well, continue to support us," Manso urged, emphasizing the pivotal role of unwavering fan support in bolstering the squad's morale.
Bofoakwa Tano inflicted a 1-0 win against the Phobians at the Coronation Park in Sunyani. Captain Saaka Dauda scored in the 47th minute for Bofoakwa Tano.
"That is football the supporters all they want is for the team to win for me sometimes they do such things out of anger or whatever. But They should understand this is football sometimes you can win sometimes you can draw," he told Happy FM as monitored by Footballghana.com
"If the worse happens even if it is in defeat you need to understand the game. That is what I think fans you educate themselves first,"
Bofoakwa Tano will play Heart of Lions in their next league game.
