William Opoku Asiedu joins Nepali club Butwal Lumbini FC

Butwal Lumbini Football Club added three international players to their squad for the upcoming Nepal Super League on Friday.

The club have recruited Nigerian Kareem Omolaja, Ghana’s William Opoku Aseidu and Chad’s Armad Beadum. Omolaja and Opoku have both played India’s I-League while Beadum had played for Chyasal Youth Club in the past.

"We have signed two midfielders - Omolaja Nurain Mareem from Nigeria and William Opoku Asiedu from Ghana - and forward Armand Beadoum from Chad to strengthen our squad," said General Manager Raju Kaji Shakya.

"With the arrival of these three players, the team will definitely be one of the title contenders," he added.

William Opoku Asiedu, 24 previously played for Okyeman FC, Middlesbrough reserve side, Levadia, Ozone FC, Minerva Punjab, BSS Sporting, Bhawanipore FC, and Bengaluru United.
