Willian, Kroos top Man Utd boss Mourinho\'s six-man wishlist

Jose Mourinho is hellbent on signing a new midfielder this summer.

The Manchester United boss looks set to lose Michael Carrick (retirement) and Marouane Fellaini (free agent) at the end of the season.

To help fill the gap left by the two veterans, Mourinho has handed vice-chairman Ed Woodward a list of six players to choose from.

The two top targets on the list are Real Madrid's Toni Kroos and in-form Chelsea utility Willian.

Tottenham's Victor Wanyama, Nice midfielder Jean Michael Seri, Lazio whizkid Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Jorginho from Napoli round out the list.

The emergence of Scott McTominay has helped Mourinho this season. But with the challenge of trying to eclipse Manchester City next term, the Portuguese knows he needs a much deeper squad.
