Winfred Osei regrets making "indemnity payments" comments

Ghana Football Association Executive Committee member, Winfred Osei Palmer regrets making comments that, Ghana have been paying bribes to referees in the previous FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

He has been barred by the FA Ethics Committee from making comments in the media.

In view of this the Tema Youth owner has rendered an apology to the association.

”I, Winfred Kweku Osei Palmer popularly known as Palmer, the statement I made on paying [bribes] to referees; I render an unqualified apology to all Ghanaians, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the FA and my colleagues in the football fraternity," said on Atinka FM

“[This] will not happen again” he said.
