Ghanaian attacker, Baba Kushibo has expressed his delight after signing for FC Samartex.
The talented winger completed his move to the Ghana Premier League champions on a free transfer on Friday, July 19.
“We are pleased to officially announce the signing of the seasoned winger, Baba Kushibo, who served as the Captain of Real Tamale United during the 2023/24 season. He joins our club on a free transfer, bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to our team,” a club statement on X said.
The FC Samartex statement added, “Baba Kushibo, a distinguished graduate of the University of Education, Winneba, has committed to a two-year contract with our club.”
In a video message to fans of his new club, Baba Kushibo said he is elated and cannot wait to play for the home fans.
“Hi everyone, this is your boy Baba Kushiebo and I’m very excited to join the Timber Giants. I hope to see you all at the Nsenkyere Sports Stadium this season,” the new signing and former RTU player said.
