Kumasi Asante Kotoko defender, Augustine Sefah has opened up on how special it is to record a win against bitterest rivals Accra Hearts of Oak.
Regarded as the two of the most glamourous clubs in the country, it is always fireworks and full of emotions whenever the two teams face in any competition.
According to Augustine Sefah who joined Asante Kotoko in 2017, it is always exciting to face Hearts of Oak.
Speaking to Myfabulousonline.com, he has revealed that whenever the Porcupine Warriors win a game against the Phobians, every player benefits in cash gifts from the supporters of the club.
“The current Kotoko players love playing against Hearts of Oak, the atmosphere alone is something that should excite you.
“Winning against Hearts is special, whether you played or not when a fan sees you outside they sometimes dash you a gift”, Sefah shared.
Since joining Kotoko, the full-back has been on the winning side for a couple of matches with the last one coming earlier this year when the Reds beat the Phobians 2-1 in the Ghana Premier League.
