Ghana international, Majeed Ashimeru has disclosed that if he is able to win the Belgian Cup with his RSC Anderlecht outfit, it will be the greatest achievement of his career.
The midfielder has hit top form at his club this season and is currently one of the team’s best players.
Through his efforts and that of his other teammates guided by the technical team, the side has progressed to the finals of the domestic cup where they are scheduled to face KAA Gent.
Speaking on the potential of lifting the trophy, Majeed Ashimeru says it will mean a lot to him.
“That would be the greatest achievement of my career so far. I already won prizes in Salzburg, but here the competition is a lot bigger. It would be a dream come true," Majeed Ashimeru told Het Laatste Nieuws.
The Cup final between RSC Anderlecht and KAA Gent will be played on Easter Monday.
Already, Majeed Ashimeru can boast of titles he won during his spell at Austrian club Red Bull Salzburg.
