Wolverhampton Wanderers Join Race to Sign Out-of-Favour Spurs Midfielder Alex Pritchard

Wolverhampton Wanderershave joined the race to sign young Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Alex Pritchard, according toHITC Sport.

The 23-year-old has been shown interest from a host of Premier League clubs and now it seems as though clubs from other leagues are starting to chase him up, as his Tottenham career looks certain to come to an end this summer.

The report goes on to suggest that Wolves' new ownership might appeal to the Tottenham midfielder, after Wolveswere bought by Fosun International, who pledged to spend £30m on improving and recruiting new playing staff at Molineux.

The England Under-21 international could do with a confidence boost and get some more game time, preferably first team football after a disastrous loan spell at West Bromwich Albion in the second half of last season.

Under Tony Pulis at West Brom, Pritchard picked up just 70 minutes of Premier League football. A chance to have first-team football in the Championship may benefit him, having previously impressed for Brentford under Mark Warburton during the 2013-14 campaign on loan.

It was reported in June 2014 that Wolves boss Kenny Jackett wanted to bring him to the club, and only now things look like they are starting to shape up.
