Ampem Darkoa Ladies beat Prisons Ladies 3-1 to win Bronze in the maiden Women’s Premier Super Cup.

The two teams whose encounter in the Group stage ended 2-2 were again up for another battle – this time in search of a silverware to take home.

Mary Amponsah headed home the opener inside five minutes of proceedings before Mavis Owusu scored the second in the 64th minute.

While the game was heading to an end with Ampem Darkoa firmly in control, Amponsah emerged up again to make it 3-0 with her second goal of the game.

Abigail Tutuwaa later reduced the deficit for Prisons Ladies with a late strike as the game ended 3-1 in favour of Ampem Darkoa Ladies.
