Working as CEO of Asante Kotoko is very difficult - Nana Yaw Amponsah

Published on: 08 June 2023

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Asante Kotoko, Nana Yaw Amponsah has opened up on how difficult the job is.

Speaking to Wontumi Sports in an interview, the football administrator said the job is very difficult.

According to him, the shenanigans around the club alone make him cry sometimes.

"Asante Kotoko's job is difficult. The shenanigans around the club will make you cry. I have cried before as the CEO of the club. Prosper Ogum has cried before and Zerbo also cried,” Nana Yaw Amponsah said.

The young football administrator was made CEO of Asante Kotoko in 2020.

Although things have not been easy in the last three years, he has done very well. Under his leadership, the Porcupine Warriors club has been spoiled for choice when it comes to sponsorship.

He is adored by fans with many continuously calling for an extension of his mandate.

Having contested the last election of the Ghana FA Presidency, it is likely he will run for the position later this year as well.
