World Cup 2022: Freiburg midfielder Daniel Kofi-Kyereh racing against time to be fit for tournament in Qatar

Freiburg midfielder Daniel Kofi Kyereh is facing a race against time to be fully fit for Ghana ahead of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

The 26-year-old who has been named in the Black Stars 55-man provisional squad lists has not featured in the last two games for the Bundesliga club.

The former St Pauli star missed his sides Europa League clash on Thursday before playing no part in their 2-0 win over Koln on Sunday.

Ghana coach Otto Addo is expected to name his final 26-man squad latest by November 14 and rumuors claim he may as well be playing on medication just in time to make the World Cup squad.

With just 13 days left for the start of the World Cup, players are determined to make the cut for the mundial in a bid to increase their market value and for financial gains both to the players and their respective clubs.

Meanwhile, Stade Rennes winger Kamaldeen Sulemana who also made the provisional list maybe racing against time to fit for the mundial.

He has not been in action for some days now for his outfit.
