The Black Stars of Ghana are just a day away from their opening game at the 2022 FIFA World Cup currently underway in Qatar.

At this year’s mundial, Ghana is one of five African countries representing the continent to compete with the rest of the world.

Prior to the start of the tournament, the Black Stars held a mini training camp in Abu Dhabi, where the national team had a very good training.

Before traveling to Qatar, the Black Stars engaged Switzerland in a friendly match and managed to secure an impressive 2-0 win.

Subsequently, on November 18, the Black Stars travelled to Qatar and have been training at the team’s base since that time.

Today, Coach Otto Addo and his assistants led the team to train amid high spirit in the camp of the national team. Players displayed competitiveness and completed various drills and team tactics as instructed by the technical team.

Following two intense training sessions, the Black Stars are now scheduled for one final session on Wednesday to wrap up the preparations for the clash against Portugal.

That encounter will be played on Thursday, November 24. Later on, Ghana will take on South Korea and Uruguay in the other remaining games in Group H.
