Ghana Football Association Vice President, Mark Addo says Ghana's game against Portugal on Thursday at the Stadium 974 will be an entertaining encounter.

The Black Stars is returning to the global showpiece after missing out in Russia 2018, where France emerged as champions.

Ghana has been housed in Group H against Portugal, Uruguay, and South Korea.

“If you look at the performance of the Black Stars against Switzerland just a snapshot and not the totality you get the sense that this is a very balanced team. You have two top players like Kudus and Partey you could see a very structured team you could see glimpses of potential that they have that they could play in any top team in the world,”

“Portugal too against Nigeria of course they had moments where they were quite brilliant. Portugal parade some of the best players in the world. It will be a very interesting game, it will come down to who wants it badly,”

Ghana will open their World Cup account against Portugal before taking on South Korea and Uruguay respectively.

Coach Otto Addo and skipper Andre Ayew will speak to the media on Wednesday ahead of the big game on Thursday.

Black Stars held their second training session today under the strict supervision of head coach Otto Addo and his backroom staff.
