Ghana coach Otto Addo is not keen about revenge ahead of their clash with Uruguay in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
The West African powerhouse earned an important 3-2 win over South Korea to boost their chances of progressing to the round of 16.
The Black Stars must avoid defeat to secure qualification to the knockout phase at the mundial.
Ghana took a 2-0 lead in the first half thanks to goals from Southampton defender Mohammed Salisu and Ajax's Mohammed Kudus.
However, Ghana fans' raucous celebrations at halftime were dampened by South Korea's comeback after the break.
Cho Gue-sung, the top scorer in his domestic league, levelled the game after 61 minutes with two stunning headers in three minutes.
But Ghana's impressive Kudus added a final twist by thumping in a third goal to break South Korea's hearts.
Speaking ahead of Uruguay’s clash, the Germany-based trainer said he is one type who does not think much of revenge.
“It will be very difficult but I am confident to know that we can win this game,” said Addo after his men claimed a thrilling 3-2 decision over South Korea. “I’m not a guy that thinks much of revenge.
“It was really, really long time ago that this incident happened and I am a strong believer if you don’t seek too much revenge on these kind of things sometimes you get the blessings.”
Ghana were denied a semifinal berth at the World Cup courtesy of a Luis Suarez handball incident in the quarterfinals of the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.

Uruguay won the penalty shoot-out to progress to the semifinals with Luis Suarez celebrated for his demonic act.
