South Korea player Cho Kyu-Sung has acknowledged the speed and physicality of the Black Stars team ahead of their clash on Monday.

The Asian outfit will take the West African powerhouse in their second Group H game of the 2022 World Cup at the Education City Stadium.

Ahead of the Ghana clash, Cho Kyu-Sung said, “I watched all the matches. While watching, I felt that the speed and physicality of Ghana's players were good”

“I also felt that this match would not be easy. I just think I need to be more prepared. I think I have to fight with organizational power while watching Portugal’s world-class players” he said.

On playing against Ghana, the player said, “When I watched the Portugal game, I saw the left fullback conceding a goal by giving up space. He will make a backspace penetration and try to score a goal” he added.

The Black Stars suffered a 3-2 defeat against Portugal in the opening Group H fixture of the 2022 World Cup.

Cristiano Ronaldo became the first player in World Cup history to score five times, with his second-half penalty giving Portugal the lead.

Ghana's Andre Ayew then equalized, but two goals in three minutes from Joao Felix and Rafael Leao secured the victory and moved Portugal to the top of Group H, despite Osman Bukari's late winner.

The 2016 European Champions, Portugal currently sit top of Group H with three points.

Meanwhile, the defeat means Ghana are bottom of Group H after Uruguay and South Korea played out a goalless draw earlier on Thursday.
