Former Tunisian star Tarak Dhiab commended Morocco's national squad, led by coach Walid Regragui, for their performance in the 2022 World Cup.

France beat Morocco 2-0 yesterday at the Al Bayt Stadium. Theo Hernandez scored in the 5th minute for the defending champions and substitute Randal Kolo Muani scored in the 79th minute.

Morocco's campaign at the World Cup has been historic, they topped their group, defeated Portugal, Spain, Canada, Belgium, and drew against Croatia.

The Moroccan national team will meet Croatia in the World Cup third-place match next Saturday in Qatar.

Tarak Dhiab took to his official Facebook to post: "Your contribution throughout this World Cup will remain in memory... You were creative, enjoyed, and taught a lesson to everyone that good planning, hard work, faith and trust in the possibilities is the only way to glory. And football always rewards those who strive and pursue success... Thank you."
