The veteran forward added, "I am proud of what I gave my country over the past years, and I believe that the future for this generation is bright."

"To beat France, to score and be decisive, that is more beautiful."

Wahbi Khazri, 31, was the star for Tunisia last week when they defeated France.

He is currently contracted to Montpellier in France.

He hangs his international boots after making 74 appearances for Tunisia and scoring 25 goals for his country.
